So you better get off your high fucking horse and act like your vote matters. You can dismiss Obama all you want, but your refusal to vote for him is a vote for Mitt Romney and if I have to deal with President Mitt Romney, I’m not gonna blame the tea party, I’m gonna blame you apathetic, idealistic, above-it-all, “revolutionaries” and the whole world will embrace the right-wing depiction of the occupy movement as a bunch of stoner drop outs.

Hey Ben Howard Fans!

Do any fo you have the Depth Over Distance or These Waters E.P.? I would do anything if you could burn it for me. Or maybe you could even send it to me over the net or somtehing?

Some realizations of the night:

• I seem to have stumbled a lot of quite of insecurities lately, or at least that’s what I’d call it because I’m acting more like the people around me, and not enough like me. Which is strange because I never though i’d be adopting so many qualities of some other people, and not staying true to myself. 
• I’m not in love with you. I think I was just really in like. I mean you’re awesome. I just think I want something a little bit more different. Plus you’re one of my best friends so why’d I’d want to screw that up?! SIlly me.
• I need to stop letting fear or self-doubt hold me back. So what if I don’t know what the next step of the plan would be? So what if my dreams could leave me homeless, and broke? So what if it leaves me being completely scared about what the future could hold or if it would be a solid thing that I could build upon? Heck I’m only 23, and I still have a whole lot of life to learn from. Not to be practical and take a risk is what I should be doing, and letting life teach me new lessons that can’t be learned from text books. It seems like I’ve been holding back on so much stuff because of self-doubt. Well not anymore. I must thank Tech Money for showing me this through his actions.
• Lastly, I really need to stop holding back on going after my dreams. I know I say this way too much. It’s just time to take action. From this point on I’m going to start living like there is no tomorrow, and chase the sun set every day.

Being compared to Marshall Eriksen twice within the past two weeks has been the best thing all year long.

My only goal for the rest of my bed rest

Is to dive into the world of Ben Howard, and hope to become just as good as him.
